Trainer Challenges
Amelia was selected as one of 12 trainers in the country to re-train an Off the Track Thoroughbred for a competition in 2013, then she was selected to train a Feral horse for the H4 Leap of Faith Horse Makeover in 2014. Amelia was chosen to be the alternate trainer for the 2015 - 5th Annual SEFHA Colt Starting Challenge, & she was automatically selected as one of the competing trainers for the 2016 - 6th annual SEFHA Colt Starting Challenge (where she placed 2nd!). Amelia was selected as one of 4 trainers for a Colt Starting USA competition in 2017, and she was also selected as one of 6 women for the all ladies colt starting competition at the Everything Equine Expo in April of 2021 (which she won!), she has been selected as one of 6 for the open colt starting competition at the Everything Equine Expo in February 2022, as well as one of 3 competitors for the colt starting competition at the Southern Equine expo in Tennessee in March 2022 (which she won!) Amelia has also won the Clark Farms colt starting competition in 2022, and placed 3rd in theirs in 2023 against very stiff competition.
